Quite simply, if you want the best varnish ever made then this is it, we have used this for some time now and find it gives a bright glossy head with one coat. It does not run, it dries quickly to a finish which does not peel off. The varnish is water based and odourless, it does not evaporate if you leave the lid off. It is a very thick varnish, we pour some off into a smaller bottle and thin down a shade for normal heads, the remaining thick varnish can be used in a similar way to epoxy for buzzer bodies and all epoxy applications. The new pearl colours will have many uses on epoxy bodies, salt water and pike flies etc.

The secret when dying is to bring to the boil the dye, when just off boil immerse material with salt to set colour, important to dissolve all dye crystals, hot dye will produce hot colours.

Special water based thinner for all the Loon varnishes, does not evaporate. Don't use any other type of thinner with your Loon varnish.
